Brett Favre VS Dan Marino

Brett Favre
WEEK 12: The New York Jets ended the Tennessee Titans undefeated start to the season today with a crushing 34-13 victory. Tennessee, the NFL's last unbeaten team, had won 10 successive games before the loss. The Jets (8-3) claimed their fifth consecutive win. New York quarterback Brett Favre threw for two touchdowns and Leon Washington rushed for two more in the one-sided victory that enabled the Jets to keep the AFC East lead. Brett Favre broke an NFL record with the touchdowns, marking the 14th season he has completed at least 20 TD passes. Favre and former Miami quarterback Dan Marino shared the previous record of 13.

With the win, Favre broke another tie with Dan Marino for victories in the most NFL stadiums by winning in his 32nd at LP Field. Thats two records beaten in one game.

Something interesting is that Jets fans are not the only ones feeling good after the team's 8-3 start.

Though he didn't quite scream, "I love New York," Brett Favre said yesterday he's happy he came to the Jets after some early trepidation.
